Between January and February 2015 took place the first intervention to check the so called Gaggìa in Paduletta di Ramone area. To perform this activity, it has been used an intensive and mechanized cut through a tracked vehicle equipped with a cutterbar. The particular width of the vehicle’s tracks allowed to work in an efficient way beating the amorpha, passing over the fens without damages, due to the better distribution of the load. Infect, in the area heavily invaded by the amorpha fruticosa there are several fens totally suffocated by this invasive species (photo: the area after the cut).
In the spring, the first results showing an increase in the growth of native vegetation were appreciated
